The Board of Overseers will hold the last of three budget workshops conducted annually in preparation of the annual budget. The workshop is on Sunday, May 28 at 8AM in Community Hall (downstairs) and via Zoom. The public is invited to attend.
Budget workshops are designed for the Overseers to pour over every budget line item and to set spending priorities.
Unlike regular Overseers meetings where public input is invited at the beginning and end of each meeting, in Overseers workshops public attendance is limited to observation only.
The workshop agenda is as follows:
- 2024 Budget Overview
- Review outstanding budget information
- Review budget by line-items — with specific focus on line items in RED indicating TBD
- Review additional information — including estimated reserves & impact on millage
- Wrap-up: Finalize budget and format for review with village
