We have had reports of fireworks set off in Bayside in several incidents over the past week or two. Please note that all fireworks are prohibited in Bayside.
The Town of Northport’s Fireworks Ordinance states, “No person shall use, possess with the intent to use, sell, possess with the intent to sell, or offer for sale consumer fireworks within the geographic limits of the Northport Village Corporation.”
If you know who is setting off the illegal fireworks, please report them by calling the Waldo County Sheriff’s non-emergency dispatch number for them to route the information to our police officer, Danny Ryosa. That phone number is: 207-338-2040.
