The first Donuts and Dialog event of Summer 2023 will be held on Saturday morning, July 1 from 8-10AM. The topic is the village budget for 2024.
The Donuts & Dialog events are designed to focus on issues of critical importance to the village and provide a open-ended forum for village residents to raise questions and provide feedback to the Board of Overseers and members of committees who are not Overseers.
Saturday’s session will feature an overview of the budget, including a review of the biggest spending categories and how the Overseers are approaching them for 2024. After a brief walkthrough of the key budget categories, the session will also include a review of village spending contributions approved by the Town of Northport for 2024.
A Q&A with village residents follows the budget overview presentation. All residents are invited to attend.
