The Board of Overseers will meet in a monthly meeting on Sunday, March 8th at 9AM. The meeting will be held in Community Hall (downstairs) and via Zoom. The public is invited to attend.

The NVC office will be closed on Presidents Day February 16 in observance of the holiday. The office will reopen at 9AM on Tuesday, February 17.

A subcommittee composed of members of the Utilities and Governance Committees will meet on January 25th at 8AM to review the language in the Utilities Ordinance and the Zoning Ordinance to reconcile any discrepancies between the two and align both ordinances.

The public is invited to attend. The meeting will be held via Zoom only.

The Board of Overseers will hold the first of a series of budget workshops on Saturday, January 24 at 10AM.

The board holds budget workshops each year to assess needs and requirements for the coming budget year.

The public is welcome to attend and observe the process that the Overseers follow to compose the annual budget.

The Northport Village Corporation Office will be closed on Monday, January 19th, 2026, in observance of Martin Luther King Day. The office will reopen on Tuesday, January 20th at 9:00 am.

The Northport Village Corporation is seeking volunteers to manage the village library during the summer months. The library is a cornerstone of the village and has been quietly managed over the last few years by a small group who are ready to pass the task to others.

The responsibilities include managing book donations, locking and unlocking the library doors, and maintaining the bookshelves.

The Northport Village Corporation Utilities Committee meeting scheduled for Friday, January 16th, is cancelled.

The next meeting will be on Friday, February 20th.
